the guest experience

ALL GUESTS (120) – BEGINNING AT 11:00AM

  • Guests drive past large welcome signage at the top and bottom of MDGC’s long driveway, with smaller recognition signs in between.
  • Friendly golf bag valets meet each car to take bags to tournament staging area.
  • Guests park and proceed to the Registration Table where they will receive their program, hole assignments, lunch ticket and tee gift package from our attentive volunteers. Non-verbal phone use only is permitted from this point on.
  • Guests may choose to enjoy an early barbeque lunch, take it with them on the course, or pick it up at the turn until 1:30 pm.
  • Other pre-tournament activities include warm-ups on the driving range/putting green/clubhouse chipping green, silent auction “shopping” and musical entertainment.
  • At 11:50 am, guests will begin proceeding to their assigned holes. Competitive foursomes will be grouped together beginning at Hole #1.
  • At 12:15 pm, the shotgun sounds and play commences. On course activities include food stations and fun contests (putting, long drive, hole-in-one and KP).
  • Play ends at or near 4:30pm.
  • Guests gather to enjoy a hosted reception with hearty food stations, silent auction, raffle and prizes.
  • Formal program ends at 6:30 pm. Optional happy hour in The Grill until 8:00pm
